Psychotherapeutic Counsellor/Systemic PractitionerMary is a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor/Systemic Practitioner in the NHS, providing clinical leadership for a multi-agency therapeutic team. With many years of experience providing innovative therapies to families who have involvement with the statutory agencies, she has wide knowledge of locating psychological therapies within multi-agency service frameworks.
Having been instrumental in developing Collaborative Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Mary also co-developed Resource Based Trauma Therapy together with Peter. A widely experienced educator, Mary currently lectures on a Masters Degree programme in child- and adolescent mental health, and provides numerous workshops to professionals in Health, Social Services and Education on therapeutic approaches for multi-agency contexts.
