Ruth Eden

Ruth has been a qualified and practicing Social Worker for 20 years and has more recently qualified as a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with a view to enhancing her ability to support families in the social care field including child protection, child in need, fostering and adoption services.

Ruth is passionate about how NVR, attachment informed practice and relationship based Social Work can help to prevent the separation of children from their families and how it can be utilised to safely rehabilitate children home wherever possible.

Ruth supports professional colleagues as an NVR Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor and Trainer. Through Systemic Consultation, Ruth offers reflective space to enable multi-disciplinary colleagues to consider creative methods of intervention to safely manage areas of assessed risk whilst maintaining a clear focus on enabling the best outcomes for families.
